The 2025 Evolve Winter Series
Are you ready to embrace a fun, energizing challenge this winter? Join us for the EVOLVE 2025 Winter Series!
Over four weeks, we'll focus on fitness, nutrition, recovery, and fostering team spirit. This challenge is open to all—whether you've been with us for years or new to our community. Participants from all our gym offerings, including Evolve Strong, Foundations, Open Gym, and Personal Training, are welcome to join.
At EVOLVE, we're not proponents of typical New Year's resolutions, which often set you up for failure by being overly restrictive, aggressive, or vague. Instead of starting the year with unsustainable goals during a what can be a challenging winter season, we’re aiming to offer a better alternative.
The EVOLVE 2025 Winter Series is a month-long community challenge designed around achievable, consistent actions supported by teamwork. We’re hoping that it helps you to get to know others in our community, work on various aspects of health in a sustainable way, and celebrate small, consistent actions.
Here’s how the it Winter Series will work:
Teams: You will be assigned to a team after signing up.
Weekly Challenges: Each week, we'll introduce individual and team challenges.
Points System: Complete weekly actions to earn points for your team.
Bonus Points: High achievers can score extra points throughout the month.
Coach Support: An EVOLVE coach will guide and support your team.
Key Dates:
Challenge Start: Saturday, February 1, 2025; 8 AM class
Sign-ups Close: Tuesday, January 28, 2025 (teams assigned post-registration)
Challenge End: Friday, February 28, 2025 special community class at 5:30 PM, followed by a happy hour at High Country Motor Lodge
Attendance at the opening and closing classes is not mandatory for participation, but we certainly hope you’ll join us. These classes will be free and designed accommodate all fitness levels, so normally do Foundations, Open Gym, or Personal Training, we still encourage you to attend.
Challenge Overview:
All weekly challenges will be appropriate for individuals at every stage of their health and fitness journey. Some may push you slightly out of your comfort zone or encourage you to try new things, but none will demand any specific fitness capabilities.
Week 1: Foundational Habits - Earn 10 points for completing this week’s challenge, with bonus points for team engagement.
Week 2: Nourishing Your Body - Gain 15 points plus potential bonus and progressive points if you've completed Week 1’s challenge.
Week 3: Functional Recovery - Score 15 points, with additional bonuses for continued engagement.
Week 4: Community Challenge - The final week offers 25 points, with extra bonuses for comprehensive participation over the month.
Scoring & Teams:
Weekly Points: Earn between 10–40 points based on participation, submitted via a simple Google form.
Cumulative Points: Maximize your score up to 100 points through full participation.
Team Interaction: Utilize the Evolve App to communicate and strategize with your team.
If you’re not quite sure about how the points will work, who will be on your team, or any other details—no worries. We encourage you to sign up, and more details will come before and during each week.
